FOOD ALLERGIES and SENSITIVITIES: Customer is responsible to review ingredients and nutritional information posted on website (click on image of product) and in shipments to make sure that there are not ingredients that they are allergic or sensitive to. Most products are prepared where peanuts and nuts could be present in small quantities. If you have moderate or severe allergies to foods, food ingredients, food additives, or supplements, use these products only under close supervision and approval of your doctor YOU MUST CONTACT US FIRST TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR RETURN OF ITEMS, AND GET A RETURN AUTHORIZATION, BEFORE RETURNING ITEM(S). RETURNED PRODUCTS: As of November 1, 2009 we are modifying our return policy. The modified policy is:
All items (other than shipping products not ordered or damaged products) that are returned for whatever reason such as but not limited to customer ordered the wrong products, change in diet, taste preferences, ingredient preferences, changes in health, side effects, health care provider recommends different products, etc., are SUBJECT TO A 35% RESTOCKING AND HANDLING FEE of the total cost for products.
SHIPPING POLICIES: We believe the customer or purchaser has the right and should expect that any purchase should be received in good condition and in a timely manner. We will make every attempt to provide purchases in a timely manner and have consequently selected USPS as our shipping agents, because we think they are the most dependable and cost efficient method of shipping. We are not responsible for delays that occur by Acts of God, or other matters out of our control such as back ordered inventory, severe weather delays, or transportation problems. We are proud of our shipping record. Currently, we complete and ship 99% of our orders out by next business day.
IMPORTANT SUMMER SHIPPING INFO: During summer months we are NOT responsible for the melting of protein bars while in transit. We do place a “Protect from Heat” label on all our boxes, but once your order leaves our premises, the weather is out of our control.
No returns or credits on protein bars or any product because package contents have been left on your porch or outside in the heat. We suggest having your order shipped to your place of business or to a neighbors’ home, or anywhere that it can be taken inside immediately.
If your order containing protein bars has been in the heat for any length of time, unpack your box, and without touching or smashing individual bars, place the boxes in your refrigerator for about an hour. They will re-harden and suffer no loss of nutrition, although they might not be quite as pretty.
FREE SAMPLES: You may request up to 2 free samples with any order over $25! You may request items from individual servings from any of our standard boxed products (that contain 5 or more servings per box). Sorry, vitamins and nutritional items that can be purchased individually are not available as free samples.
